Been a while since my last blog post, so I thought I would mention a couple of new novellas I’ve written, under submission now, but not yet published anywhere.
Pâtissier et Étranger is a bit of an oddity, a mash-up of romantic baking drama, humorous spy thriller, and (spoiler!) alien visitation science fiction. It’s set in Paris in 1967, and was distantly inspired by the great French comedy “The Tall Blond Man With One Black Shoe”. Currently looking for a publisher.
The Demons of Chiyoda is the latest entry in my Nora Simeon series published by Mirror World, the previous entries being The Demons of Wall Street and The Demons of the Square Mile, available from the publisher as well as at all major online bookstores. In this romantic noir urban fantasy, our heroes follow a case from Flushing, Queens to Japan. Just as Wall Street and the Square Mile are the centers of the US and British banking industry, all the major Japanese banks are headquartered in Marunouchi, Chiyoda.
